Billie Pleffer - Highly Commended in Inaugural Mona Brand Writing Award

Billie was one of three winners in the inaugural Mona Brand Award presented biannually to outstanding Australian women writers of stage and screen. The Emerging Writers Award of $10, 000 went to Jada Alberts for her play Brothers Wreck. Billie was presented with Highly Commended for her short film BABY BABY.
